Happy Tuesday Franklin.
I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day Weekend.
I spent mine celebrating my wifeâs birthday at the beach in Florida. As part of her birthday gift, I told her Iâd give her a free advertising spot to kick off the newsletter.
What does she do you might ask? Sheâs a realtor. Her name is Ashley Burns.
Sheâs a good one. I can vouch for her with no bias whatsoever.
If you or your friends want to work with a great agent, check her out here. If you donât have Instagram, reply to this email and Iâll get you her contact info.

BUZZWORTHY NEWS
đ¤ CMA Fest Next Week (June 6 - 9): We are about a week away from kicking off CMA Fest, the longest running Country Music festival in the world. As typical, itâs a star-studded lineup: Keith Urban, Lee Brice, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Luke Bryan, Cody Johnson, Thomas Rhett, Parker McCollum, Brett Young, Needtobreathe, Bailey Zimmerman, Rodney Atkins, Dylan Scott, Colbie Caillat, Jon Pardi, Hardy, Gavin DeGraw, Tracy Lawrence, Riley Green, Carley Pearce, Kelsea Ballerini, Jordan Davis, Chris Young, and More. Half of the proceeds from the festival each year are donated to charity. You can get tickets here. Hereâs the link to view all of the maps. Hereâs the link to see whoâs playing where.
đ¨âđž Mid-Week Farmers Market Grand Opening: If you love the Farmers Market, youâll be excited to hear that another market will be hosted at The Factory starting this week. The new market will be located at the Water Tower Plaza on Wednesday evenings from 4 - 8pm. Local restaurants, small businesses, and nonprofits are encouraged to apply by contacting Diane Kolopanas at 615-744-9184 or [email protected].
đ Click It or Ticket Campaign: As summer kicks off and families hit the road for vacation, the Franklin Police Department is partnering with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO) to remind motorists to Click It or Ticket. Through June 2, the law enforcement agency will increase seat belt enforcement as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administrationâs (NHTSA) nationwide mobilization. Participating law enforcement agencies will be taking a no-excuses approach to seat belt law enforcement, writing citations day and night. Around 40% of the people killed in car crashes last year in Tennessee werenât wearing their seatbelts. So if you want to stay alive and avoid getting a ticket, wear your seatbelt!

Itâs Summer Camp Season!
Summer camp is the perfect way to keep kids happy and busy when out of school. With thousands of local camp options, how do you choose?
Think past the big-name camps
The biggest camps are full by now, but there are still wonderful camps with openings. These camps tend to be locally owned, have a lower camper-to-counselor ratio, and offer unique activities.Consider your overall schedule
Many day camps end earlier than work does, so youâll want to consider before and after care options. If you have kids in different camps, you donât want to spend your afternoons racing across town to avoid a late pickup fee! Think through the big picture before booking.Watch out for hidden costs
Tuition is only the start for many camps. Often there is a registration fee, materials fees, or additional fees for meals. Youâll want to factor those costs into your budget. Not all camps are for all kids
Camps offer fun, low-stakes chances for kids to try lots of new activities and see what interests them. The best summer schedules mix the familiar, the new, the challenging, and the comfortable.Use The Curated Kid List to find and register for camps quickly and easily
The Curated Kid List (www.thecuratedkidlist.com) has all the camps in one place and filters that let you search by price, week, theme, age, location, and more.
They also offer exclusive discount codes just for Curated Kid List members, so the membership pretty much pays for itself. For Franklin Buzz subscribers, you can take advantage of 15% off your first purchase of The Curated Kid List with code âSUMMERMAGICâ.)
