BUZZWORTHY NEWS
LIV Golf is coming to town this weekend. On June 21 - 23, you can see John Rahm, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, and others compete at The Grove. Some are calling it the biggest golf event in Nashville in 80 years. You can get tickets here. LIV Golf will be featuring the “Party Hole at 15” which will include live music all day (with a classic Nashville sound) and fan challenges that allow you to test your skills against other fans. On the 14th Hole, fans will have a chance to play Rock and Hole-In-One, sliding a putt down the fretboard on a giant guitar. Also, there will be concerts Friday and Saturday night by Michael Marcagi and Dan and Shay.
Williamson Health is inviting the community to a free family event to celebrate the grand opening of Williamson Medical Center’s newly expanded and renovated West Tower. The free community event will feature family fun activities, complimentary food, a live DJ, and tours of the new Williamson Medical Center West Tower. A short program and ribbon cutting will begin at 3:45 p.m., featuring various speakers including Williamson Health physicians, community leaders and other special guests. The expansion added three floors to the original West Tower footprint plus a new wing that encompasses all six floors for a total of nearly 175,000 new square feet and 141 new patient beds. The West Tower now includes a 35-bed ICU for critical care needs, 94 medical-surgical inpatient rooms, 33 obstetrics rooms, 10 pediatric inpatient rooms, and more.
Yoga in the Park: Come celebrate International Day of Yoga this Friday from 8am - 12pm at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. The Annual Yoga in the Park event is hosted by Friends of Franklin Parks in collaboration with The Historic Franklin Parks Department, Be Well Mel, LifeTime Franklin Yoga Department, Robin Barnes, and Vui’s Kitchen. Come for the free yoga and stay after to connect with other yogis and local vendors.
