Cirque Du Soleil - Songblazers is coming to Nashville. Premiering this July 2024, Cirque du Soleil's newest North American touring show is collaborating with Universal Music Group Nashville to produce an acrobatic and live musical performance showcasing the artistry of Cirque du Soleil with the melodies of beloved country legends and contemporary stars. Delivering the perfect harmony of guitar grooves & breathtaking moves, you will be heel kickin’ your way through an unforgettable night of heartfelt stories, toe-tapping rhythms, and awe-inspiring aerial performances capturing the heart & soul of country music. Williamson County Animal Center (WCAC) is waiving adoption fees July 11th - 13th for the first 50 approved adopters. There has been a significant decrease in adoptions compared to previous years. In response to this issue, over 200 local volunteers raised funds to cover the costs of 50 adoptions. The "Clear the Halls with Love from the Vols" adoption event offers discounts on puppies, adult dogs, and adult cats, but not on kittens. Alongside waived adoption fees, there will be special activities and local animal-related vendors onsite for guests to enjoy from July 11 to July 13. Click here to view adoptable pets and/or fill out an application.

Sugar Drop is Closing. This Franklin-based sweet shop has been serving the community for over 50 years. In addition to their delicious snacks, they’ve also hosted private events and classes over the years. The owner of the business posted a heartfelt Instagram Post saying goodbye to the community. Sugar Drop will remain open through Saturday, July 20.
