Your guide to staying connected in Franklin, TN
Hello Franklin. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.
Today is Make Up Your Own Holiday Day. Seriously, it’s an actual day.
What would you do if you could create your own holiday?
Some have suggested that they would make their holiday “National Procrastination Day” so they can put everything off until tomorrow. Unfortunately, that already exists. It’s an entire week in early March.
Whatever you decide to celebrate today, enjoy.

WestFest Concert Experience
We are 38 days away from one of the best events in Franklin. WestFest, Westhaven Golf Club’s annual drive-in concert experience, is back for another year on Saturday, May 3rd. Hosted on the Westhaven practice range, the event consists of live music, delicious food, and plenty of fun for the entire community to enjoy. There will be multiple bands performing throughout the evening, creating an energetic and exciting atmosphere.
Local food trucks will be onsite, offering a wide variety of culinary options to satisfy every craving. For those looking to enhance their experience, VIP access is available and includes premium perks and prime seating. Guests will be seated in designated “pods,” which are squares painted on the ground to mark your assigned section. These pods ensure everyone has a comfortable and organized space to enjoy the concert.
While golf carts are welcome, they are not required to participate—WestFest is designed for everyone to enjoy! The pod will be large enough to park your (one) golf cart and comfortably sit on lawn chairs. Prices go up as we get closer to the event so don’t wait to get your tickets. Get your tickets here!

Franklin Launches 24/7 Chat Bot
The City of Franklin has introduced a new, fully integrated web chat assistant, Frankie, developed in partnership with Citibot, a leader in AI-powered chat solutions for local government. This automated assistant, available 24/7 on the city’s website, enables residents to get fast answers, submit service requests, and connect directly with city staff. The city of Franklin is one of the first municipalities in Tennessee to implement Citibot’s AI-powered customer service platform.
Frankie is powered by the latest generative AI technology and is designed to handle routine inquiries and support residents with ease. With the ability to communicate in 75 languages, Frankie makes government resources more accessible and provides a seamless, inclusive experience for all users.
Residents can access Frankie by visiting the city’s website (www.franklintn.gov) and clicking the chat icon in the bottom right of the screen, available on both desktop and mobile. If a resident needs additional support, they can request staff assistance directly through the chat.
I asked Frankie if he had any interest in running for mayor one day now that’s he in local government and he responded, “I don’t have personal ambitions to run for office.” That’s what they all say Frankie.
