Veterans Day Parade
The City of Franklin will remember and honor all veterans at its Veteransā Day Parade held in Downtown Franklin on November 11, 2024, at 11 am. The parade is a joint effort of the City and local radio station WAKM AM-950.
The parade route travels down Main Street, from Five Points to Second Avenue. JROTC units and/or marching bands from Williamson County high schools will participate. The Franklin Special School District will also send a large group of students to show their appreciation to veterans.
The Parade begins promptly at 11:00 am at West Main and Fifth Avenue. Prior to the parade, a reception will be held at the Williamson County Archives from 9 am until 11 am for local veterans and their families. To register as an entry in the parade, please complete the Parade Entry Form.

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SEBRING DESIGN
Over the last 25 years, Sebring Design Build has been one of the premiere design and remodeling companies in the Nashville area.
The Sebring team has a strong track record with stellar reviews and testimonials from past clients. Owner Bryan Sebring is involved in each phase of the process ensuring that every customer has an exceptional experience.
If youāre interested in scheduling a consultation or contacting the Sebring team, check out their page here.
Bryan Sebring put together the following questions to ask yourself when trying to find the right fit for your next contractor.
The Five Pās:
People: Ask lots of questions and trust your gut! How easy is it to talk with them? Do they answer your questions with confidence? Whatās their communication like? Are they patient with all your questions or do they seem to get impatient with your questions? The answers to the question above will help you to see if the contractor is a potential good fit for you and your project.
Process: When you hire a contractor that is organized and has a system in place, it can save you a considerable amount of time and money. Do they have a system or process in place for projects like yours? Will they help with ideas and design? Who will be responsible for any permits that are required? What is the dispute resolution process if a conflict does arise?
Portfolio: One of the most ideal ways to evaluate and find the right contractor for your project is to take a look at some of their past work. It can also give you more peace of mind if they have taken on projects that are similar to yours. The quantity of completed projects in their portfolio will reflect their level of experience, while also being sure to focus on the quality of past projects is important too.
Past Clients: I would suggest beginning your research online. Dig deep and look for any bad reviews or negative feedback. If there ARE negative reviews, take a look at how the company responded to the review. Also, be aware of any contractors that you canāt find any reviews at all. Look for photos and visual proof of some finished projects and follow up by getting names of real customers and go see the completed projects.
Price: This is the most common area where making the wrong choice could potentially cost you a lot of money. Focus on the value of the services that are being provided, over which contractor has the cheapest price. When all is said and done, you get what you pay for and you want a beautiful completed project that you can be proud to show off to your family and friends!
