Your guide to staying connected in Franklin, TN
Good afternoon Franklin and Happy April Fools Day. While this edition of the Buzz doesnât have any April Fools Day pranks in it, you need to be prepared for the tricksters out there.
Here are some helpful tips to avoid getting tricked today:
Stay Skeptical: If something seems too good (or too strange) to be true, it probably is. Take a moment to think critically before reacting to any surprising news or offers.
Check Sources: Verify any news or updates from trusted sources, especially if itâs something that seems out of the ordinary, like an announcement or unusual event. April Foolsâ pranks often rely on misinformation or spoof news.
Avoid Major Decisions: Donât make big decisions, like buying something or committing to plans, without double-checking the situation. April Fools' jokes often prey on impulsive reactions.
Look for Odd Details: Pranks often have telltale signs like exaggerated claims, inconsistencies, or impossible situations. If something feels âoffâ or doesnât add up, itâs worth questioning.
Enjoy the sun today as weâre looking at some stormy weather late Wednesday - Sunday.
