🐝 Lunchables, LIV Golf, and Live Music

Happy Friday Franklin. I hope everyone is ready for an amazing weekend with some beautiful weather.

In the least shocking news you’ll hear today, an investigation revealed that Lunchables are unhealthy.

Research shows that Lunchables have been found to contain dangerous amounts of lead and chemicals found in plastics that have been linked to reproductive problems, diabetes, and certain cancers.

What?! You’re telling me that this stack of crackers, fake cheese, fake meat, and an Oreo isn’t healthy?

Sadly, Lunchables are served to nearly 30 million children through the National School Lunch Program. Advocacy groups are asking the federal government to remove Lunchables from school lunch programs.

Kraft, the manufacturer of Lunchables, said they stand by their product. "We are proud of Lunchables and stand by the quality and integrity that goes into making them."

Yikes.

I’ll be spending my weekend counting up all of the Lunchables I ate as a kid so I can get ready for the class action lawsuit.

⛳ LIV Golf is Coming to Nashville: On June 21 - 23, some of the best players in the world will compete in a golf tournament at The Grove Course. This will be the ninth of 14 events on the first full season of the tour. This is a great opportunity to see some under the radar, up-and-comers like Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, and Bubba Watson. If any of these guys ever make it big, you heard it here first!

🍔 In-N-Out Coming to Town: The West Coast burger chain will invest $125M in an eastern corporate office in Franklin. This marks the company’s first expansion east of Texas. The new office is expected to generate almost 300 jobs. Construction will begin later this year and will be completed in 2026. In-N-Out has said they will open locations throughout Nashville by 2026. The Franklin location will be near Berry Farms off I-65. While this is exciting news, I’m still on team Whataburger.

😂 The Nashville Comedy Festival is bringing all of your favorite comedians to town starting today and going through April 21st. Events will take place at several venues throughout the city. The line-up includes: Tom Segura, Bert Kreischer, Jeff Dunham, Andrew Schulz, Leanne Morgan, Shane Gillis, and More. Tickets are still available.
