The official trailer for Gladiator II dropped a couple days ago. It hits theaters on November 22nd.
Denzel Washington doesn’t make many bad movies so I’m expecting it will be good. Will it reach the cult status of the original? We shall see.

Williamson County Fair
The 2024 Williamson County Fair returns to the Williamson County AgExpo Park Friday, August 2 through Saturday, August 10. In celebration of its upcoming 20th anniversary, they are offering some discounted online ticket options. Attendees can conveniently purchase marked-down general admission and unlimited ride tickets in advance until midnight on August 1st. Check out their site here to get tickets, directions, and additional info on the fair.
Early Voting Begins Today
Early voting starts today for the upcoming Federal/State Primary and County General Election on August 1. You can cast your ballot ahead of time at any of the eight early voting locations, open weekdays from 8am to 6pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm until July 27. Note that on Saturdays, the election commission office will open at 8 am. During this period, you can find Early Voting Locations and hours here or on the GOVOTETN Voter App
The deadline to register to vote for this election was Tuesday, July 2. On Election Day (August 1) polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm at all Election Day Vote Centers throughout the county, where you can vote regardless of your address. For more information, please visit williamsonvotes.net or contact the Election Commission office directly at 615-790-5711.
Upcoming Road Closure in Downtown Franklin
Starting July 15th, 5th Avenue South and a portion of Main Street at the 5-points intersection will be closed for an extended period due to a water/sewer replacement project. The closure is expected to last for 6-8 weeks. Follow signed detour routes to get around these road closures. Map of road closure: (Twitter/X or Instagram)
