Hollywood in Franklin
"A Little Womenâs Christmasâ movie is filming in Franklin this month. The cast and production crew are shooting this modern retelling of the classic novel for Great American Family's "Great American Christmas 2024" lineup. This holiday production will continue on Main Street and inside some local downtown stores through July 23rd. There arenât any street closures; however, pedestrians will be intermittently stopped during filming.
State of the County
Williamson County residents are invited to one of this yearâs premier business luncheons as Mayor Rogers Anderson presents the annual State of the County Address. This event will take place on Monday, July 22nd, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs. Starting at 11 a.m., guests can participate in a networking session featuring booths from over 25 local businesses, nonprofits, schools, and other organizations. At 11:50 a.m., Mayor Anderson will deliver his address, offering a comprehensive overview of Williamson County's economic performance, covering areas such as financial health, education, public safety, transportation, job growth, employment, and capital investments.
