BUZZWORTHY NEWS

🌆 State of the City: Mayor Dr. Ken Moore will give his annual State of the City address on May 7, at Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin. Doors open at 7:00am and the Mayor’s speech will begin at 7:45am. The Mayor will discuss Franklin’s achievements in 2023 and projects on the horizon. Breakfast will be provided. The State of the City will be streamed live across the City’s social media channels.

🏎️ Gone in 60 Seconds: Williamson County’s first 24-hour, drive-up license plate tag renewal kiosk just opened at the Williamson County Administrative Complex in Franklin. The tag renewal center takes just seconds to use. It’s so easy that I now consider the license plate tag renewal process as a hobby.

Chinese Comfort Food: Yesterday, Steam Boys (蒸汽男孩 in Chinese) had the grand opening of their Chinese fast-casual location in Franklin. It’s located at 4000 Longpoint Way #400 (off Carothers, south of 96). The locally-owned chain now operates 6 locations across Tennessee, including locations in Germantown and The Assembly Food Hall.
